Mmm food. Yesterday was a particularly A+ day, gastronomically speaking. After a visit to my favourite bakery Baluard, we proceeded to order some, ahem, gourmet pizzas. The best pizza I’ve had has been in Lagos, Nigeria but the pizzas at Brunos here in Barcelona come pretty close.

Baulard is not just any bakery — they really know their pain, pa, pan, buredi. Everything you order, from the spinach empanada (pie) to just a simple croissant, has its own special-tasting crust. Thanks to these folks, I actually enjoy getting my RDA of spinach.

A certain sailor man would be proud.
